Loosely connect the hose assembly (15) to the tube assembly (20).

Loosely connect the tube assembly (20) to the tee fitting on the tube assembly (45).
(4)
Tighten the coupling nuts of the tube assembly (20) sufficiently to hold the tube in position. Do not torque the nuts at this time.
(5)
Put the clamp (30) on the tube assembly (20). Attach the clamp (30) to the bracket on the engine flange Sta. 215 (B8) with the bolt (25).
(6)
Put the clamp (30) on the tube assembly (20). Attach the clamp (30) on the tube (35) to the bracket on the engine flange Sta. 215 (B8) with the bolt (25).
(7)
Put the clamp (80) on the tube assembly (20). Attach the clamp (80) on the tube assembly (20) to the bracket on the engine flange Sta. 221 with the bolt (65), the washer (70), and the nut (75).
(8)
TORQUE the bolt (65) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(9)
Make sure that the HP sense tube (20) is in the correct position.
(10) TORQUE the coupling nut on the hose assembly (15) to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the tube (20) when you torque the

coupling nut on the hose.

(11) TORQUE the coupling nut on the tube assembly (20) to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the tee fitting on the tube
____ assembly (45) when you torque the coupling nut on the tube.
(12) TORQUE the nut (25) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).

F. Installation of the PRV to HPV Tube Assembly NOTE : To use the CFM56-5B engine on an A320 or A321 aircraft you must do
____ Service Bulletin RA32136-5 which replaces this tube assembly.
(1)
Remove the protective covers from the tube assembly (45), the valves
(40) and (60), and the tube assembly (20).
(2)
Loosely connect the tube assembly (45) to the bleed pressure regulator valve (60).
(3)
Loosely connect the tube assembly (45) to the HP regulator valve (40).
(4)
Loosely connect the tube assembly (20) to the tee fitting on the tube assembly (45).
(5)
Tighten the coupling nuts of the tube assembly (45) sufficiently to hold the tube in position. Do not torque the nuts at this time.
(6)
Put the clamp (30) on the tube assembly (45). Attach the clamp (30) to the bracket on the engine flange Sta. 215 (B8) with the bolt (25).
(7)
Put the clamp (30) on the tube assembly (45). Attach the clamp to the bracket on the engine flange Sta. 215 (B8) with the bolt (25) and the nut (50).
(8)
Make sure that the tube assembly (45) is in the correct position.
(9)
TORQUE the coupling nut on the tube assembly (20) to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the tee fitting on the tube
____ assembly (45) when you torque the coupling nut on the tube.

(10) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the two ends of the tube assembly (45) to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the fittings on the valves when
____ you torque the coupling nut on the tube.

TORQUE the bolts (25) and nut (50) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(12)
If the tube assembly (45) does not have good alignment with the valves (40) and (60), do the steps that follow:
(a)
Loosen the nut (50) so that the tube assembly (45) can be moved.
(b)
Loosen the couplings on the valves (40) and (60).
(c)
Move the valves (40) and/or (60) until the tube assembly (45) is correctly aligned with the valves.
(13)
TORQUE the coupling nuts on the two ends of the tube assembly (45) to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
(14)
TORQUE the nut (50) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(15)
TORQUE the nuts on the valve couplings as follows:
