B. Installation of the Flexible Metal Pneumatic Hose Assembly
(1)
Remove the protective covers on the hose assembly (10), the engine tube and the tube assembly (35).
(2)
Connect the hose assembly (10) to the engine tube.
(3)
Connect the hose assembly (10) to the tube assembly (35).
(4)
TORQUE the coupling nuts at the two ends of the hose assembly (10) to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the fitting on the tube assembly

when you torque the coupling nuts.

C. Installation of the Mid Stage Tee Duct to Pylon Interface Tube Assembly
(1)
Remove the protective covers from the tube assembly (25), the union
(35) and the hose (10).
(2)
Loosely connect the hose assembly (10) to the tube assembly (25).
(3)
If necessary, install the union (35) on the mid stage tee duct. TORQUE the union to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
(4)
Loosely connect the tube assembly (25) to the union (35) on the mid stage tee duct.
(5)
Put the clamps (20) on the tube assembly (25). Use the bolts (15) to attach the clamps to the brackets at engine flange Sta. 221 (B9) (two locations).
(6)
Put the clamps (20) on the tube assembly (25). Use the bolts (15) and the nut (45) to attach the clamp (20) to the brackets at engine flange Sta. 215 (B8).
(7)
Make sure that the tube assembly (25) is in the correct position.

(8) TORQUE the hose assembly coupling nuts to between 135 and 150 lbf.in

(10) TORQUE the bolts (15) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).

D. Installation of the PRV to HPV Tube Assembly
NOTE : To use the CFM56-5B engine on the A319 aircraft, you must do
____ Service Bulletin RA32136-3 which replaces this tube assembly.
(1)
Remove the protective covers from the tube assembly (25), the bleed pressure regulator valve (50) and the HP regulator valve (30).
(2)
Loosely connect the hose assembly (25) to the bleed pressure regulator valve (50).
(3)
Loosely connect the hose assembly (25) to the HP regulator valve (30).
(4)
Tighten the coupling nuts of the tube assembly (25) sufficiently to hold the tube in position. Do not torque the nuts at this time.
(5)
Put the clamps (20) on the tube assembly (25). Attach the clamp to the bracket on the engine flange Sta. 215 (B8) with the bolt (15) and the nut (45).
(6)
Make sure that the HP sense tube (25) is in the correct position.
(7)
TORQUE the coupling nuts at the two ends of the tube assembly (25) to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the fittings on the valve when you

torque the coupling nut on the tube.

TORQUE the nut (15) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(9)
If the tube assembly (25) does not have good alignment with the valves (30) and (50), do the steps that follow:
(a)
Loosen the nut (45) so that the tube assembly (25) can be moved.
