TRUE AIRSPEED INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Referenced Procedures

A. 24-22-00, Maintenance Practices (Apply Power)
2. Remove True Airspeed Indicator
______________________________
A. Pull TAS circuit breaker on panel P7.
B. Pull CADC 1 and CADC 1 SYNC EXCIT circuit breakers on panel P7.
C. Loosen instrument panel clamp holding TAS indicator in place.
D. Slide indicator out and disconnect electrical connector on rear of indicator.
3. Install True Airspeed Indicator
_______________________________
A. Connect electrical connector to rear of case.
B. Insert TAS indicator into position.
C. Tighten instrument panel mounting clamp.
D. Provide electrical power (Ref 24-22-00).
E. Close CADC circuit breakers.
F. Close TAS indicator circuit breaker.
G. Check that indicator OFF flag is out of view.
H. Remove electrical power if no longer required (Ref 24-22-00).

STATIC AIR TEMPERATURE INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

2. Remove Static Air Temperature Indicator
_______________________________________
A. Pull SAT circuit breaker on panel P7.
B. Pull CADC 2 and CADC 2 SYNC EXCIT circuit breakers on panel P7.
C. Loosen instrument panel clamp holding SAT indicator in place.
D. Slide indicator out and disconnect electrical connector from rear of indicator.
3. Install Static Air Temperature Indicator

A. Connect electrical connector to rear of case.
B. Insert SAT indicator into place.
C. Tighten instrument panel mounting clamp.
D. Provide electrical power (Ref 24-22-00).
E. Close CADC circuit breakers.
F. Close SAT indicator circuit breaker.
G. Check that indicator OFF flag is out of view.
H. Remove electrical power if no longer required (Ref 24-22-00).

PRIMARY ALTITUDE INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

A. 34-13-04, Adjustment/Test
2. Remove Primary Altitude Indicator
_________________________________
A. On panel P7, open circuit breakers CADC 1, CADC 1 SYNC EXCIT, CADC 1 -ALTM 1 and ALTM VIB 1 (for captain's indicator) or CADC 2, CADC 2 SYNC EXCIT, CADC 2 - ALTM 2 and ALTM VIB 2 (for first officer's indicator).
B. Loosen instrument mounting clamp and slide indicator out of instrument panel.
CAUTION: DRAW INDICATOR OUT OF INSTRUMENT PANEL WITH CARE TO AVOID
_______ STRESS AND/OR DAMAGE TO CABLE AND PNEUMATIC HOSE AT BACK OF CASE.
PITOT AND STATIC SYSTEM PRESSURES MUST BE AT AMBIENT BEFORE PROCEEDING TO AVOID INSTRUMENT DAMAGE.
C. Disconnect electrical connector on rear of indicator case.
D. Disconnect static pressure hose from rear of indicator case by operating quick-disconnect fitting.
E. Remove instrument memory indicator (IMI) ring from face of altitude indicator and retain with airplane.
3. Install Primary Altitude Indicator
__________________________________
A. Connect electrical cable to connector on rear of indicator case.
CAUTION: TO AVOID INSTRUMENT DAMAGE, PITOT AND STATIC SYSTEM PRESSURES
_______
MUST BE AT AMBIENT BEFORE PROCEEDING.
B. Connect static system hose to quick-disconnect fitting on rear of indicator case.
C. Slide indicator into position in instrument panel and secure with instrument mounting clamp.
CAUTION: INSERT INDICATOR INTO PANEL WITH CARE TO AVOID STRESS AND/OR
_______
DAMAGE TO CABLE AND PNEUMATIC HOSE.
D. Install instrument memory indicator (IMI) ring on instrument face.
E. Ensure panel light circuit breakers on main power circuit breaker panel P6 are closed.
