Place a thermometer adjacent to each total air temperature probe and shield them from direct wind and sunlight.
NOTE: The system must have power applied for a minimum of 30
____ minutes before continuing with test.

On airplanes with aspirated temperature probe, air must be applied by one of the following methods:
(a)
One of the left engines operating.
(b)
A high pressure ground cart providing air to the airplane and left isolation valve open (flight engineer's panel).
(c)
The APU operating and left isolation valve open.
(9)
Verify application of air by observing that the duct pressure indicator on the flight engineer's panel registers approximately 40 psi.
(10)
Verify air flow from temperature probe.
(11)
Remove the electrical connector from the TAT probe.
