Warning flags will appear and readouts will slew on mach, altitude, TAS (CADC No. 1 only), and SAT (CADC No. 2 only) indicators. Indicator readouts shall stop slewing after a maximum of 120 seconds (P/N 60B00058) or 130 seconds (P/N 60B40126).

____NOTE:  Actual readouts cannot readily be seen. It is possible, however, to observe readouts slewing.

Altimeter reverts to standby mode before readout slews 550 feet, then reverts to altitude previously set. IF -

 Aug 25/87 On CADC P/N 60B00058, release SELF-TEST switch, then depress and hold it in again. Check that ALT, M, and TAS warning lights come on within 6 seconds and go off within 120 seconds.
On CADC P/N 60B40126, release button A, then depress and hold it in again. Check that ALT warning light comes on within 6 seconds and goes off within 130 seconds.

Aug 25/87 Prepare system for trouble shooting as described in par. 2. Place TEST SELECT switch on CADC to SLF-TST. Place STBY-CADC switch on altimeters to CADC position. Depress and hold PUSH TO TEST switch on CADC and check response.

TEST VALID WHEN LIT light on CADC will come on and stay on.

(2)

CADC and associated air data pressure instruments self-test properly. Review pilots' flight report to determine if instrument error is reported, if so, proceed to appropriate NOT OK block. If report indicates problem is due to interface to other systems, perform complete check of CADC system (34-12-00, System Test).
