1. General
_______
A. This section covers the removal and installation of the TAT/EPRL computer, A/T-TAT/EPRL mode selector panel and TAT/EPRL indicator. Procedures for the computer, mode selector panel and indicator are obvious and only safety related steps are given.

3. Removal of TAT/EPRL Computer
____________________________
A. Before removing unit, open TAT/EPRL-COMP and TAT/EPRL IND circuit breakers on P7 panel.
4. Removal of A/T-TAT/EPRL Mode Selector Panel
___________________________________________
A. Before removing panel, open the following circuit breakers:
(1)
TAT/EPRL - COMP on P7 panel
(2)
SEC PROTECTION on pilots' control stand P8 for control stand panel lights dimmer T144
(3)
IND LTS-PILOTS and SW LTS on P12 panel
B. After removing panel, remove RTG I and RTG II switch caps from panel (Ref 33-11-09). Retain in airplane to install on new panel.
5. Removal of TAT/EPRL Indicator

A. Before removing indicator, open the following circuit breakers:
(1)
TAT/EPRL-COMP and TAT/EPRL-IND on P7 panel
(2)
SEC PROTECTION on pilots' control stand P8 for center instrument panel lights dimmer T137
6. Installation of TAT/EPRL Computer
_________________________________
A. Before installing unit, ensure that circuit breakers listed in par.
3.A. are open.
B. Install computer (Ref 20-11-13).
CAUTION: IMPROPER ADJUSTMENT OF CAM LOCK LATCH ON EQUIPMENT SHELF
_______ MAY CAUSE CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE.
C. Close TAT/EPRL-COMP, TAT/EPRL-IND, CADC 1 and CADC 1 - SYNC EXCIT circuit breakers on panel P7.
D. Press TEST LAMPS switch on computer; three failure lights should come on. Releast switch; lights should go out.
E. Remove electrical power if no longer required (Ref 24-22-00).
7. Installation of A/T-TAT/EPRL Mode Selector Panel

A. Install RTG I and RTG II switch caps (Ref 33-11-09) on panel.
B. Before installing panel, ensure that circuit breakers listed in par. 4.A.(1), (2) and (3) are open.
C. Install control panel and close circuit breakers opened in par. 4.A.(1), (2) and (3).
D. Check that panel lights are on.
E. Remove electrical power if no longer required (Ref 24-22-00).
8. Installation of TAT/EPRL Indicator

A. Before installing indicator, ensure that circuit breakers listed in par. 5.A.(1) and (2) are open.
B. Install indicator and close circuit breakers opened in 5.A.(1) and (2).
C. Check that indicator instrument lighting is on.
D. Remove electrical power if no longer required (Ref 24-22-00).

XA A/T-TAT/N1 (EPRL) MODE SELECT PANEL - SERVICING (RELAMPING)

XA 1. _______
General XA A. The A/T-TAT/N1 (EPRL) mode select panel is located on the aft control XA stand electronics panel. Lamps in RTG I and RTG II switch caps (Ref XA 33-11-09) and the N1 (EPR) derate display may be replaced while XA installed in the airplane. XA 2. _______________________________
Replace N1 (EPR) Derate Display XA A. Equipment and Material XA (1) N1 (EPR) Derate Display Assy - Marconi Avionics P/N 8706-00028 XA B. Replace display XA (1) Pull out display assy with fingers or a vice-grip with smooth jaws. XA (2) Insert new display and press firmly into the internal connector. XA C. Display Test XA (1) Check N1 (EPR) derate display by slewing the derate toggle switch XA up and down.
