Close TAT/N1-IND, TAT/N1-COMP, CACD 1-PWR and CADC 1-SYNC EXCIT circuit breakers on panel P7.
NOTE: The full flight regime auto throttle system circuit breakers
____ are to be pulled while performing this test.

Close N1 TACH-1, -2, -3, -4 circuit breakers on panel P6 and ensure AUTO COMMAND knob on N1 indicators are in the depressed condition.

Select TOD mode on mode selector panel. Check that mode is displayed on indicator.
(5)
Press TEST LAMPS switch on computer. All three lights should come on. Release switch; lights should go out.

Pull TAT/N1-COMP circuit breaker on panel P7. Failure flags on TAT/N1 limit indicator and N1 TACH indicators should appear. The N1 displays should not be affected by the appearance of the failure flags. Reset circuit breaker and failure flags should retract.

Pull TAT/N1-IND circuit breaker. Failure flag on TAT/N1 limit indicator should appear. On LH 011-013, 051-056, 082; AF 152, 153, 172, 191-194; and GN 601 prior to incorporating SB 34-2115, the command N1 flag on the N1 indicators will remain out of view or appear momentarily. Reset circuit breaker and failure flag will retract. On LH 057-070, 083-099; AF 154-171, 173-190, 195-199; AZ 221-299; and on LH 011-013, 051-056, 082; AF 152-153, 172, 191-194; and GN 601 after incorporating SB 34-2115, the command N1 flag on the N1 indicators will appear. Reset circuit breaker and failure flag will retract.

Pull each N1 TACH indicator circuit breaker on panel P6 in turn and check that the N1 and command N1 limit failure flags on the N1 indicator appear in view. The command N1 counter readout should be within | .5% of the readout displayed by the TAT/N1 limit indicator. Reset circuit breakers and failure flags should retract.

(9) Pull CADC No. 1 115V AC circuit breaker. Failure flag on TAT/N1 limit indicator and command N1 limit counter flag on N1 indicators should appear. Reset circuit breaker and failure flags should retract.
NOTE: N1 limit bugs movement is allowed after pulling CADC No. 1

(10) On LH airplane 012, prior to incorporatiing SB 34-2137, and on LH 011, 013, 051-055, 082; AF 121-154, 172, 191-194 and GN 601 after incorporating SB 22-2077, press RATING SELECT I and II switches on mode selector panel and verify there is no effect on TAT/N1 indicator displays or the RTG I and II lights on the instrument panel. The RTG II will remain illuminated on center instrument panel.
NOTE: The TAT/EPRL system is wired such that is locked in RTG II
____ continuously at this time. Requirements to select RTG I or II in the remainder of this procedure do not apply.
(11) Press RATING SELECT I switch on mode selector panel and observe that upper portion of switch cap and RTG I indicator light on pilots' center instrument panel comes on. Place IND lights switch on overhead panel to DIM and observe that both lights dim.
NOTE: On airplanes with CF6-50E2 engine ratings,
____ the previous step applies for all modes except CRZ/RTG I selected, the upper portion or RTG 1 switch cap will illuminate but the RTG I indicator light on center panel will not.

Press RATING SELECT I switch a second time and observe that upper portion of switch cap and RTG I indicator light goes out.

Repeat above steps using RATING SELECT II switch and RTG II indicator light.
(14)
Rotate N1 LIM MODE switch on mode selector panel through all positions noting that each selected mode appears on indicator MODE readout.
