(2)
Areas not checked by the system test are: outputs and interfaces between computers and systems other than the air data instruments; internal computer functions of static source error correction; the function generator that provides the input to the TAS module (CADC 2 only); and full scale accuracy of outputs from the total air temperature probes.
(3)
Heaters in pitot-static probes and total air temperature probes must remain off during this test. Do-not-operate identifiers must be placed on all probe heater switches. (Refer to 30-31-00, Pitot-Static and Temperature Probe Anti-Icing.)
NOTE: With total air temperature probe heat on, on the ground,
____ TAT and SAT (if installed) indication will not be accurate and flags may appear. This is a normal condition.

(4) Accuracy of test is based on ambient air temperature of 25 (| 5).C and relative humidity of less than 85% in main equipment center and on flight deck. If necessary, use equipment cooling air (21-58-00) and flight deck temperature control (21-61-00) to achieve these conditions.

D. Test Central Air Data Computer System and Air Data Instruments System
(1)
Perform operational test.
(2)
Verify that:
(a)
Power is on for all air data indicators and both computers.
(b)
Altimeter BARO knobs are adjusted to 29.92 inches of mercury and CADC-STBY switch is in CADC.
(3)
Observe air data instruments and verify warning flags are not visible.
(4)
On front panel of computer part numbers 60B00058 and 60B40126, observe that annunciators are not yellow.
(5)
Sequentially open and close each circuit breaker listed in figure
501.
(6)
As each circuit breaker is opened, observe that captain's and first officer's air data instruments show flags per Fig. 501; after each circuit breaker is closed note that flags are not visible.
