construction industry. It is a fact that including apprentices in your crew mix improves your company’s
bottom line by keeping labor costs down.
Apprentices enrolled in IBEW/NECA training programs receive over 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and
900 hours of college level related classroom instruction. They receive training in the latest electrical
construction technologies including photovoltaics, building automation, variable frequency drives,
programmable logic controls, and standard electrical construction practices.
Is your company reaping the benefits of hiring apprentices? Are you helping to ensure an adequate supply
of trained and highly skilled labor in the future? If not, reconsider your crew mix and hire an apprentice
today. We’ve said it earlier, but it bears repeating: Apprentices are the future of our industry. Special
thanks to the following companies for their part in shaping the future of our industry.
