A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(2)
Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3)
On the panel 400VU:
-make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
-put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(4)
Put a warning notice on the MLG ground-opening handle to tell persons not to open the MLG doors.
(5)
Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic systems.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Depressurize the Yellow and the Green Hydraulic systems (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2)
Make sure that the Yellow and the Green Hydraulic reservoirs have been depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Lift the applicable MLG axle (Ref. TASK 07-12-00-582-002) or lift the aircraft on jacks (Ref. TASK 07-11-00-581-001).

C. Get Access
(1) Remove the applicable MLG wheels (Ref. TASK 32-41-11-000-006) and brakes (Ref. TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
