A. Removal of the Pack Downstream Check-Valve NOTE : Access to the pack dowstream check-valves must be obtained from
____
both outside and inside the aircraft.
Two persons are recommended for this procedure.
(1)
FOR 15HM
(a)
Remove the clamp (7).
(b)
Remove the nut (12), the bolt (9), the washer (10) and disconnect the bonding strap (11).
(c)
Remove the clamp (2) and disconnect the bellows (1).
(d)
Hold the check valve (6) and remove the bolts (3) and the washers (4).
(e)
Remove the check valve (6) and the gasket (5).
(f)
Put protective covers on the open ends of the check valve (6), the bellows (1) and the flange (8).

FOR 16HM
(a)
Remove the clamps (27) and (41).
(b)
Remove the nut (34), the bolt (30), the washer (31) and disconnect the bonding straps (32) and (33).
(c)
Remove the nuts (37) and (40) and the washers (36) and (39).
(d)
Hold the duct assembly (29) and remove the bolts (35) and (38).
(e)
Disconnect the tie-rods (43) and (44) and remove the duct assembly (29).
(f)
Remove the O-ring (28).
(g)
Put protective covers on the open ends of the duct assembly (29), the check valve (26) and the flange (42).

Remove the clamps (22) and (23) and disconnect the bellows (21).
(i)
Hold the check valve (26) and remove bolts (24) and the washers (25).
(j)
Remove the check valve (26) and the gasket (5).
(k)
Put protective covers on the open ends of the check valve (26) and the bellows (21).
