R  (d) Apply a small quantity of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to 
R  the contact faces of the retaining cables (9). 
R  (2) Put the packings (14) in position on the condensor (19) and on the 
R  air cycle machine (15). 
R  (3) Put the sleeve (12) in position on the air cycle machine (15). 
R  (4) Put the sleeve (8) in position on the coupling (10). 
R  (5) Put the packing (18) in position on the condensor (19). 
R  (6) Put the condensor (19) in position and install the support rods (72B) 
R  and (73). 
R  (7) Install the bushings (31), (where fitted the washers (30)), the bolts 
R  (29), the washers (33) and the nuts (34). 
R  (8) Install the clamp (17). 
R  (9) Make sure that the clamp (17) is in the correct position. 
R  (10) TORQUE the clamp (17) to between 0.51 and 0.56 m.daN (45.13 and 49.55
 lbf.in). 
R  (11) Move the sleeve (12) in position over the packings (14) and install 
R  the half clamps (11) and the clamp (13). 
R  (12) TORQUE the clamp (13) to between 0.28 and 0.38 m.daN (24.77 and 33.62 
R  lbf.in) and safety with annealed stainless-steel lockwire, diameter 
R  0.5 mm (0.0196 in.) MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-009). 
R  (13) Move the sleeve (8) in position on the condensor (19). 
R  (14) Put the retaining cables (7) in position and install the new washers 
R  (6) and the new nuts (5). 
R  NOTE : Hold the hexagon part of the retaining cables (7) to prevent____ 
R  twisting of the cables when you install the nuts (5).

R  (15) TORQUE the nuts (5) to between 0.85 and 1.0 m.daN (75.22 and 88.49 
R  lbf.in) and wipe clean the excess COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) 
R  from the retaining cables (7). 
R  NOTE : Hold the hexagon part of the retaining cables (7) to prevent____ 
R  twisting of the cables when you torque the nuts (5). 
R  Make sure that there is no tension in the cables (7). 
R  This will give a safe and flexible connection. 
R  (16) Put the sleeve (20) in position on the condensor (19) and install the 
R  clamp (21). 
R  (17) Make sure that the clamp (21) is in the correct position. 
R  (18) TORQUE the clamp (21) to 0.28 m.daN (24.77 lbf.in). 
R  (19) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (24). 
R  (20) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other
 items. 
R  **ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-149, 151-199, 201-299, 301-399,

 D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit
 breaker(s): 
R  (1) FOR 10HM2

R  **ON A/C 401-499,

 D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit
 breaker(s):

 E. Test
 (1)
 Do the pre-conditioning through the HP ground connector (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or with the APU (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001).

 (2)
 Do a leak check of the condenser connections. NOTE : Minimum leakage is permitted. After the pack operates some

____ minutes, the leakage of air will reduce because the seals have their correct operating temperature.

 (3)
 Do a leak check of the sense line connections.
 NOTE : Leaks are not permitted.

 After approx. 15 minutes stop the pre-conditioning (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001).

 (5)
 Do the operational test of the cockpit and cabin temperature control (Ref. TASK 21-63-00-710-004).
