(e) Align the bolt holes in the support with the bolt holes in the
diffuser and combustor case.
(f) Put the bracket (12, 13, or 14) on the fuel injector (5) with
the bolt holes aligned.
(g) Lubricate the threads of the bolts (21) with engine oil.
(h) Install the bolts (21) to attach the fuel injector (5) and the
bracket (12, 13, or 14) to the diffuser and combustor case.
1) Tighten the bolts to 65-85 pound-inches (7.3-9.6
newton-meters).
2) Tighten the bolts (21) again to 65-85 pound-inches (7.3-9.6
newton-meters) until you keep the necessary torque.
3) Install the lockwire or safety cable and safety cable
ferrule to the bolts (21).
(i) Lubricate the new packing (20) with the petroleum jelly.
(j) Install the packing (20) to the groove on each of the three
fuel injectors (5).
(k) Lubricate the new packing (3) with the petroleum jelly.
(l) Install the new packings (3) on each end of the transfer tube
(2).
(m) Install the transfer tube (2) in the supply tube (1).
(n) Connect the fuel manifold (4) to the fuel injectors (5).
NOTE: You will tighten the fuel manifold nuts after you do the____
leak check of the fuel manifold.
1) Lubricate the threads of the fuel injectors (5) with engine
oil.
2) Connect the fuel manifold (4) to the fuel injectors (5).
3) Tighten the fuel manifold nuts (4) with your hand.
(o) Connect the supply tube (1) to the fuel manifold (4).
NOTE: You will tighten the supply tube nut after you do the____
leak check of the fuel manifold.
1) Lubricate the threads of the fuel manifold inlet (4) with
engine oil.

2) 3) Connect the fuel supply tube (1) to the fuel manifold (4).Tighten the supply tube nut (1) with your hand.

(3) For the No. 7 fuel injector, attach the support tube (34) for the wire harness with the steps that follow: (a) Attach the support tube (34) to the bracket (14) with the bolt (35) and nut (33). 1) Tighten the nut (33).

(4) For the No. 8 fuel injector, do the steps that follow: (a) Attach the clamp (40) to the bracket (13) with the bolt (42) and nut (41). 1) Tighten the nut (41).

(5) For the No. 9 fuel injector, do the steps that follow: (a) Attach the support (50) to the bracket (12) with the bolt (48), washer (49), and nut (43). 1) Tighten the nut (43). (b) Attach the bracket (46) to the bracket (12) with the bolt (47), washer (45), and nut (44). 1) Tighten the nut (44).

(6) Install the No. 2 turbine-vane cooling-air duct (AMM 75-24-02/401) if it was removed.
