a) 6G01, FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE ENG 1 b) 6G23, ENG SCU 1 c) 6L10, FUEL CONT VALVE ENG 1 d) 6G02, FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE ENG 2 e) 6G24, ENG SCU 2 f) 6L11, FUEL CONT VALVE ENG 2 g) 6G03, FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE ENG 3 h) 6G25, ENG SCU 3 i) 6L12, FUEL CONT VALVE ENG 3 j) 6G04, FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE ENG 4 k) 6G26, ENG SCU 4 l) 6L13, FUEL CONT VALVE ENG 4

Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary
(AMM 24-22-00/201).

(2) Open the fan cowl panels (AMM 71-11-04/201).

_______ OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER. THE ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Do this procedure: Thrust Reverser Deactivation for Ground Maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201).

(4) Open the core cowl panels (AMM 71-11-06/201).

_______ THRUST REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

Open the thrust reversers (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Procedure
S 014-123-N00
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector DM3108 (39A) from the FMU (6).
(a)
Install the cap on the open end of the electrical connector (39A).

Remove the fuel bypass valve (AMM 73-11-07/401).

(3)
Drain the fuel from the main fuel supply hose (10):
(a)
Put a container below the main fuel supply hose (10).
(b)
Remove the drain plug (8) for the fuel pump inlet.
(c)
Drain the fuel into the container.
(d)
Discard the packing (9) from the drain plug (8).
(e)
Lubricate a new packing (9) with the petrolatum.
(f)
Install the new packing (9) on the drain plug (8).
(g)
Lubricate the threads of the drain plug (8) with engine oil.
(h)
Install the drain plug (8) in the fuel pump (11) port.
(i)
Tighten the drain plug (8) to 45-55 pound-inches (5.1-6.2 newton-meters).
(j)
Install the lockwire on the drain plug (8).

(4)
Remove the fuel pump or fuel pump unit:
(a)
Disconnect the main fuel supply hose (10):
1) Remove the bolts (19) and the washers (20) which hold the main fuel supply hose (10) and the bracket (18) to the fuel pump (11).

2) Disconnect the main fuel supply hose (10) from the fuel
pump (11).
3) Discard the gasket (21).
4) Install the caps on the openings of the main fuel supply
