 2)  Remove the bolts (141, 144) and nuts (142, 145) which attach the clamp (143) to the bracket on the lubrication and scavenge oil pump.
 3)  Remove the bolts (146, 148) and nuts (147, 149) which attach the clamp (150) to the bracket between the fuel injector No.12 and 13.
 4)  Put the 5 gallon (19 liter) container below the lubrication and scavenge oil pump.

5)  Disconnect the tube nut (136) from the diffuser case fitting.
 6)  Remove the bolts (139) which attach the oil scavenge hose and manifold assembly (135) and the bracket (138) to the fluid pressure dampener (ENGINES PRE-PW-SB 79-86) or to the adapter assembly (ENGINES POST-PW-SB 79-86), which is mounted on the top of the lubrication and scavenge oil pump. a) Let the oil drain into the container.
 7)  Remove the oil scavenge hose and manifold assembly (135) from the engine. a) Discard the packing (137).
 8)  Install caps on the diffuser case fitting and the open port on the lubrication and scavenge oil pump.
 (g)  
Put the container below the fuel manifold (4).

 (h)  
Disconnect the supply tube (1) from the fuel manifold (4).

 (i)  
Disconnect the fuel manifold (4) from all three fuel injectors (5).

 (j)  
Remove the fuel manifold (4) from the engine. 1) Install caps on the openings of the fuel manifold (4). 2) Discard the packings (20).

 (k)  
Remove the transfer tube (2) from the supply tube (1).

 (l)  
Discard the packings (3) from the transfer tube (2).

 (m)  
Remove the bolts (21) which attach the fuel injector (5) to the diffuser and combustor case.

 (n)  
Remove the fuel injector (5) and the gasket (19) from the engine.


 NOTE: Turn or lift the fuel injector, as it is necessary, to
____ disengage the fuel injector from the diffuser and combustor case.
 1)  Discard the gasket (19).
 (o)  Install caps on the open end of the supply tube (1) and the opening in the diffuser and combustor case.

 7.  Remove the No. 16, 17, or 18 Fuel Injector and Support (Fig. 401)______________________________________________________

 (1)  Make sure the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch is in the CUTOFF position.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR THE ENGINE IGNITION
_______ BEFORE YOU OPEN THE FUEL CONT VALVE. THE IGNITER PLUGS WILL AUTOMATICALLY FIRE IF YOU ARE OUT OF ZERO DETENT, NACELLE ANTI-ICE IS ON, CON IGNITION SWITCH IS SET TO "ON", OR ENGINE START SWITCH IS PULLED TO "ON". IF THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER HAS FUEL IN IT, AN INTERNAL ENGINE OR A TAILPIPE FIRE CAN OCCUR. THE FIRE CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
