Procedure

(1)
Remove the No. 4, 5 or 6 fuel injector and support.
(a)
If you will remove the No. 4 or 5 fuel injector, remove the bolts (32), nuts (31), and washers (30) which attach the triangle support (29) to the brackets (17, 18).
(b)
If you will remove the No. 5 fuel injector, remove the bolt (28) and nut (27) which attach the turnbuckle (26) to the bracket (16).
(c)
If you will remove the No. 6 fuel injector, remove the bolt (36) and nut (38) which attach the turnbuckle (37) to the bracket (15).
(d)
Put the container below the fuel manifold (4).
(e)
Disconnect the supply tube (1) from the fuel manifold (4).
(f)
Disconnect the fuel manifold (4) from all three fuel injectors (5).
(g)
Remove the fuel manifold (4) from the engine. 1) Install caps on the openings in the fuel manifold. 2) Discard the packings (20).
(h)
Remove the transfer tube (2) from the supply tube (1). 1) Discard the packings (3) from the transfer tube (2).
(i)
For the No. 4 fuel injector, remove the bolts (21) which attach the fuel injector (5) and the bracket (18) to the diffuser and combustor case.

(j)
For the No. 5 fuel injector, remove the bolts (21) which attach the fuel injector (5) and the bracket (16, 17) to the diffuser and combustor case.
(k)
For the No. 6 fuel injector, remove the bolts (21) which attach the fuel injector (5) and the bracket (15) to the diffuser and combustor case.
(l)
Remove the fuel injector (5), the bracket (15, 16, 17 or 18) and the gasket (19) from the engine.
NOTE: Turn or lift the fuel injector, as it is necessary, to
____ disengage the fuel injector from the diffuser and combustor case.
1) Discard the gasket (19).
(m) Install caps on the open end of the supply tube (1) and the opening in the diffuser and combustor case.
