3. Fault Confirmation
__________________
A. Do the Operational Test of the Main Transfer System (Ref. AMM TASK 28-26-00-710-001).
NOTE : The main (wing) pumps will always supply sufficient primary flow
____
to induce jet pump transfer except:
- under gravity feed
- where one pump is being used to feed both engines at high power
- if the primary fuel flow is blocked
- if the primary fuel flow is leaking away before the jet pump.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If it is only possible to transfer fuel by gravity and not by the jet pump:
(1) Check/replace the JET PUMP-L, CENTER TANK (157QM), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-26-41-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-26-41-400-001).
(2) Do the test given in Para 3.A.

(3) If the fault continues:
- check/replace the FUEL CONTROL VALVE-JET PUMP, L WING TK (153QM), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-26-43-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-26-43-400-001).
(4) Do the test given in Para 3.A.
(5) If the fault continues:
- check the primary fuel supply pipe between the left wing fuel pumps and the JET PUMP-LEFT WING TANK (157QM) for leaks or a blockage.
(6) Repair/replace any unserviceable pipes.
(7) Do the test given in Para 3.A.
