R B. Test
R (1) Do the procedure for the Operational Test of the Crossfeed Valve R Using Individual Motors (Ref. AMM TASK 28-23-00-720-001).
R NOTE : During the operational test when the C/B-2QE is set to open,
____ R the OPEN legend of the P/BSW-4QE will not come on. This is R because the C/B-2QE also supplies 28VDC to the related lamp R control circuit in the BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC (6LP).
R (2) If, during the test of the crossfeed system:
R
R - the ON and/or the OPEN legends of the P/BSW-4QE do not come on, do
R the procedure (Ref. TASK 28-23-00-810-802)
R
R - the crossfeed valve status (colored position indication) is shown
R XX or is not shown correctly on the ECAM, FUEL system display page,
R do the procedure (Ref. TASK 28-23-00-810-804)
R
R - the crossfeed valve (10QM) does not open and/or close, do Para.
R 4.A.
4. Fault Isolation

R A. Procedure
R (1) Remove the actuator, crossfeed valve (5QE) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-23-51-000-001).
R (2) Do a check of the crossfeed valve (10QM) as follows:
R (a) Make sure that the drive spindle of the valve can turn freely:
R - through the 90 degrees between the closed and open position
R - through the 90 degrees between the open and closed position.
R (3) If the drive spindle:
R
R - does not turn freely, do step (4)
R
R - turns freely, do step (5).

Nov 01/03 CESR (4) Replace the VALVE-FUEL CROSSFEED (10QM) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-23-41-000-R 001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-23-41-400-001).
R (a) If the fault continues, do step (5).
R (5) Make sure that the P/BSW-4QE, C/B-1QE and C/B-2QE are still set to R the conditions that showed the fault in Para. 3.B. If necessary, R reset the conditions.
R (6) Use a multimeter to do a test for 28VDC between a ground point with R easy access and the actuator (5QE) test point (connector and pin) as R shown in the table that follows.
