- make sure the actuator is in the closed position as shown on the FUEL System Display page by reference to the see/feel indicator on the actuator body.
(1) Disconnect the supply connector from the ACTUATOR-JET PUMP 1 CONTROL VALVE, CTR TK (11QL).
(2) With a multimeter do a check to see if 28VDC is available at pin A of the supply cable connector (Ref. ASM 28-26/01).
(a) If the 28VDC is available at pin A of the supply cable connector:
- replace the ACTUATOR-JET PUMP 1 CONTROL VALVE, CTR TK (11QL).
1 Do the test given in Para 3.A.

(b) If the 28VDC is not available at pin A of the supply cable connector:
1 Check/replace the RELAY-AUTO CTL No. 1 CTR TK (7QL).

2 Do the test given in Para 3.A.
_
3 If the fault continues:
_
- check/replace the P/BSW-FUEL/CTR TK/L XFR (5QL).
4 Do the test given in Para 3.A.
_
5 If the fault continues:
_
- check/replace the C/B-FUEL/CTR TK/L & R XFR/CTL & IND (1QL).
6 If the fault continues do a wiring check (Ref. ASM 28-26/01)

on:
- the aircraft wiring between the pin A, of the actuator supply cable connector and the terminal B3, of the relay (7QL).
- the aircraft wiring between the terminal B2, of the relay (7QL) and the terminal B1, of the P/BSW (5QL)
- aircraft wiring between the terminal B3, of the P/BSW (5QL) and the C/B (1QL).
7 Repair/replace all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.

8 Do the test given in Para 3.A.

4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the Center Tank, Right Transfer Control Valve does not open:
- make sure the P/BSW-FUEL/CTR TK/MODE SELECT/AUTO (4QL) on the panel 40VU is set to MAN (released out)
- make sure the P/BSW-FUEL/CTR TK/R XFR (6QL) on the panel 40VU is set to ON (pushed in)
- make sure the actuator is in the closed position as shown on the FUEL System Display page by reference to the see/feel indicator on the actuator body.
