(b) Electrical Tests Do a continuity test (Ref. ESPM 20-52-21) and a test for a short circuit (Ref. ESPM 20-52-22) of the wires that follow (Ref. AWM 28-42-14) and (Ref. AWM 28-42-15):
- FQIC rack connector 3QT-A, pin 7H to connector 7509VC-A, pin H (permittivity signal)
- FQIC rack connector 3QT-A, pin 5H to connector 7509VC-A, pin W (common drive return)
- FQIC rack connector 3QT-A, pin 15G to connector 7509VC-A, pin G (common drive)
- FQIC rack connector 3QT-A, pin 6F to connector 7509VC-A, pin M (density signal)
- FQIC rack connector 3QT-A, pin 7F to connector 7509VC-A, pin Z (density signal return)
- FQIC rack connector 3QT-A, pin 9F to connector 7509VC-A, pin N (density supply/drive)
- FQIC rack connector 3QT-A, pin 10F to connector 7509VC-A, pin <A (density supply/drive return).
(c) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors (Ref. ESPM 20-00-00).
(d) Connect:
- the connector 7509VC-A to the fused adaptor
- the fused adaptor to the tank wall receptacle 7509VC.
(e) Install the initial FQIC 3QT (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-34-400-001).
(f) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
(11) If the fault continues, drain and open the tank to the air (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002).
(12) Do a check of the HARNESS-CHAN A, CTR TK (17QT) (Ref. AWM 28-42-14) and (Ref. AWM 28-42-15) and replace, if necessary, (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-44-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-44-400-001).
(13) If the harness 17QT is serviceable, replace the CADENSICON-CTR TK (20QT) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-16-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-16-400-002).
NOTE : Make sure that the cadensicon transit pin is removed.

NOTE : If the center tank cadensicon sensor is replaced, 2000kg
____ (4400lb) of fuel must be put in the center tank before you can fully test the cadensicon.

A. Close-up and Removal of Equipment
(1) Do the EIS Stop Procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(2) If applicable, close the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(3) If necessary, de-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean, clear of tool(s) and other items.
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
