5 Install the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-

25-55-400-001).
6 Do the manual refuel (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-004).

B. Procedure - In Manual Refuel One Refuel Valve Fails To Open But The Refuel Can Be Continued When The Related Refuel Valve Manual Plunger Is Held Pushed In
(1) Disconnect the electrical supply connector, from the refuel valve, on the tank that fails to refuel.
(2) Use a multimeter to do a test, to see if 28VDC is available between pin A (+ve) and pin C (-ve) at the electrical supply connector (Ref. ASM 28-25/01).

(3) If 28VDC is not available in step (2), go to step (6). If the 28VDC is available:
(a) Set the multimeter, to resistance and the 300 ohms range.
(b) At the solenoid receptacle, connect the multimeter as follows:
- the negative lead to pin A
- the positive lead to pin C
(c) Make sure that the resistance is between 20 and 30 ohms.
(d) Reverse the multimeter connections:
- the positive lead to pin A
- the negative lead to pin C.
(e) Make sure that the resistance is between 200 and 300 ohms.
(4) If the tests done in step (3) are not as specified, replace the soleniod valve of the related VALVE-REFUEL, (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-400-003).
(5) If the tests done in step (3) are as specified:
(a) Remove the solenoid valve (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-003)
(b) Clean, check/replace the solenoid valve (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-400-003).
(c) If the fault continues check/replace the VALVE-REFUEL, L WING TK (7QU) (VALVE-REFUEL, R WING TK (8QU)) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-400-001), (VALVE-REFUEL, CTR TK (10QU)) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-400-002), of the related tank.
(6) If 28VDC is not at pin A as measured in step (2):
(a) Do a check of (Ref. ASM 28-25/01) and replace, if necessary:
- the RELAY-L WING TK REFUEL VALVE CONTROL (15QU) / RELAY-R WING TK REFUEL VALVE CONTROL (16QU) / RELAY-CTR TK REFUEL VALVE CONTROL (17QU) as applicable.
NOTE : The quickest method/way to check the refuel valve control
____ relays is to swap the one from the failed refuel valve system with one from a serviceable refuel valve system.
- the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-55-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-55-400-001).
NOTE : If due to airline operational conditions it is not
____ possible to replace the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) and internal Trouble-shooting is required, go to step (8).

- the applicable FLSCU (for the left wing tank and the center tank refuel valve failures replace FLSCU-1 (7QJ) and for the right wing tank refuel valve failure replace FLSCU-2 (9QJ)) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-400-001).
NOTE : This step is necessary because the FLSS BITE test does not
____ check the user outputs from the FLSS level sense channels.
- the applicable diodes (part of diode module 78VD).
(b) Use a multimeter to do a wiring check of the aircraft wiring (Ref. ASM 28-25/01) between:
- the terminal A2, RELAY L/R(CTR) TK REFUEL VALVE CONTROL (15/16/17QU) and the related refuel valve end connector 7QU/8QU/10QU-A, pin A
- the terminal X1, RELAY L/R(CTR) TK REFUEL VALVE CONTROL (15/16/17QU) and the related pin of end connector 4024VC-A, that connects to the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU)
- the terminal A1, RELAY L/R(CTR) TK REFUEL VALVE CONTROL (15/16/17QU) and the pin <G, of end connector 4024VC-A, that connects to the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU)
- the terminal X2, RELAY L/R(CTR) TK REFUEL VALVE CONTROL (15/16/17QU) and the applicable pin of rack connector to the FLSCU-1(2).
