- C/B-FUEL/RFL/DFL/SUPPLY (2QU) - supplies 28VDC to the refuel valves.
NOTE : The refuel valves (all) will not open if the 28VDC, 501PP
____ FUELLING BUS is not powered. This is because the Fuel Level Sensing System (FLSS) high level channels (all) will give false WET outputs when they are not powered (de-energized condition).
(3) If during the test of the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU), the HI LVL lights fail to operate as specified:
- refer to P. Block 101, LOCAL WARNING INDICATORS for the related Trouble-shooting Task number.
(4) Look at the STATUS REPORT (BITE) of the FLSS (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-00-740-001).
(5) If the FUEL LEVEL SENSING message, L(R) HI LEVEL SENSOR 17QT1(2) is given:
- do the procedure for L(R) High Level Sensor 17QJ1(2) Failure (Ref. TASK 28-46-00-810-803) before you start more steps.
(6) If the FUEL LEVEL SENSING message, C HI LEVEL SENSOR (20QJ) is given:
- do the procedure for C High Level Sensor 20QJ Failure (Ref. TASK 28-46-00-810-805) before you start more steps.
(7) If, in Manual Refuel all the refuel valves fail to open:
- go to Para. 4.A.

(8) If, in Manual Refuel one refuel valve fails to open:
- use the related manual plunger to attempt to continue the refuel as given in the procedure for Pressure Refuel without Electrical Power (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-005).
(9) If, during the time the related refuel valve manual plunger is held pushed in:
(a) The applicable refuel valve opens and the refuel continues:
- go to Para. 4.B.
(b) The applicable refuel valve does not open and fuel cannot be put into the related fuel tank:
- go to Para. 4.C.
4. Fault Isolation

A. Procedure - In Manual Refuel All Refuel Valves Fail To Open
(1) Remove the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) and disconnect the two connectors 4023VC-A and 4024VC-A (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-55-000-001).
(2) Use a multimeter to do a test (Ref. ASM 28-25/01) to see if 28VDC is available between pin <G (+ve), of the end connector 4023VC-A, and a suitable ground.
(3) If 28VDC is available at pin <G go to step (4). If 28VDC is not available at pin <G:
(a) Do a check of and replace, if necessary, the
C/B-FUEL/RFL/DFL/SUPPLY (2QU).
(b) If 28VDC is not available at the 501PP FUELING BUS 1:
- do the procedure for Refueling not Possible Failure (Ref. TASK 24-67-00-810-801).
(c) Do a wiring check of the aircraft wiring (Ref. ASM 28-25/01) between:
- the C/B-FUEL/RFL/DFL/SUPPLY (2QU) and the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) end connector 4023VC-A, pin <G.
(d) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.
(e) Install the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-55-400-001).
(f) Do the Manual Refuel (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-004).

(4) Do the step (a) or (b) that follows:
(a) Replace the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) with a serviceable item and install (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-55-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-55-400-001).
(b) If due to airline operational conditions it is not possible to replace the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU), do the internal Trouble-shooting (Ref. ASM 28-25/01) and (Ref. ASM 28-25/03) as follows:
1 Remove the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-
_
55-000-001).
2 Do a check of and replace, if necessary, the SW-MODE
_ SELECT/REFUEL/OFF/DEFUEL/XFR (3QU).
3 Do a check of the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) internal
_ wiring (Ref. ASM 28-25/03) between:
- the receptacle 4023VC, pin <G and terminal 1A, of the terminal block 4001VT
- the terminal 1D, of the terminal block 4001VT and the terminal 1B, of the SW-MODE SELECT/REFUEL/OFF/DEFUEL/XFR (3QU)
- the terminal 3B, of the SW-MODE SELECT/REFUEL/OFF/DEFUEL/XFR (3QU) and the terminal 3D, of the terminal block 4001VT.
NOTE : Terminal 3D, of the terminal block 4001VT is the last
