R (9) On the FUEL page, make sure the left wing tank fuel content and the R right wing tank fuel content become stable and stay stable for twenty R (20) minutes.
R (10) If the fuel continues to flow (leaks past the valve) when the R DEFUEL/XFR valve is closed.
R (a) Do a check and replace if necessary:
R 1_ The ACTUATOR-DEFUEL/XFR VALVE (11QU) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-53-R 000-001), and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-53-400-001).
R 2_ The DEFUEL/XFR VALVE (11QM) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-43-000-001),
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-43-400-001).
R (11) Do the test given in Para. 4.A. Step (3) to Step (6).
R (12) If no fault is found:
R - continue with the procedure which now tests the R refuel valve with
R left wing fuel pumps pressure.
R (13) On the panel 800VU, put the MODE SELECT SWITCH to DEFUEL/XFR
R position.
R (a) Make sure the OPEN light comes on.

R (b) On the center tank rear spar, make sure the DEFUEL/XFR ACTUATOR
R (11QU) see/feel indicator is in the open position.
R (14) On the FUEL page, make sure the left wing tank fuel content decreases
R and the right wing tank fuel content increases.
R (15) On the panel 800VU, put the REFUEL VALVES switch for the RIGHT wing
R to the NORMAL position.
R (16) On the FUEL page, make sure the left wing tank fuel content and the
R right wing tank fuel content become stable and stay stable for twenty
R (20) minutes.
R (17) If the fuel continues to flow (leaks past the valve) when the
R VALVE-REFUEL, R WING TK (8QU) is closed, do a check and replace if
R necessary:
R - the VALVE-REFUEL, R WING TK (8QU) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-001),
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-400-001).
R (18) If no fault is found:
R - continue with the procedure which now tests the C refuel valve with
R left wing fuel pumps pressure.
R (19) On the panel 800VU, put the REFUEL VALVES switch for the CENTER tank
R to the OPEN position.
R (20) On the FUEL page, make sure the left wing tank fuel content decreases
R and the center tank fuel content increases.
R (21) On the panel 800VU, put the REFUEL VALVES switch for the CENTER tank
R to the NORMAL position.
R (22) On the FUEL page, make sure the left wing tank fuel content and the
R center tank fuel content become stable and stay stable for twenty
R (20) minutes.
R (23) If the fuel continues to flow (leaks past the valve) when the
R VALVE-REFUEL, CTR TK (10QU) is closed, do a check and replace if
R necessary:
R - the VALVE-REFUEL, CTR TK (10QU) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-000-002),
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-51-400-002).
R (24) If no fault is found:
R - continue with the procedure which now tests the L refuel valve with
R right wing fuel pumps pressure.
R (25) On the panel 40VU, release (out) the L TK PUMPS P/BSWs to switch off
R the left wing tank fuel pumps.
R (a) Make sure the OFF legends come on.

R (26) On the panel 40VU, release (out) the P/BSW-FUEL/X FEED (4QE).
R (a) On the FUEL page, make sure the crossfeed valve shows closed.
R (b) On the center tank rear spar, make sure the ACTUATOR-FUEL
R CROSSFEED VALVE (5QU) see/feel indicator is in the closed
R position.
R (27) On the panel 800VU, put the REFUEL VALVES switch for the LEFT tank to
R the OPEN position.
R (28) On the panel 40VU, push (in) the R TK PUMPS P/BSWs.
R (a) Make sure the OFF legends go off, and the FAULT legends come on
R momentarily.
R (29) On the FUEL page, make sure the right wing tank fuel content
R decreases and the left wing tank fuel content increases.
R (30) On the panel 800VU, put the REFUEL VALVES switch for the LEFT wing to
R the NORMAL position.
R (31) On the FUEL page, make sure the left wing tank fuel content and the
R right wing tank fuel content become stable and stay stable for twenty
R (20) minutes.
R (32) If the fuel continues to flow (leaks past the valve) when the
R VALVE-REFUEL, L WING TK (7QU) is closed, do a check and replace if
