4. Fault Isolation

A. On the ENG/APU FIRE PANEL (1WD) located on the overhead panel 20VU, make sure that the ENG 2 FIRE PUSH pushbutton switch (P/BSW) is in the closed and guarded position.
(1) On the ECAM Control Panel 11VU, push (in) the FUEL P/BSW to get the FUEL system page on the ECAM lower display unit (DU).
(2) Set the ENG/MASTER 2 (2KC) switch (panel 115VU) to OFF.
(3) Disconnect the electrical supply cable connector (10QG-A) from the ACTUATOR-LP FUEL VALVE, ENG 2 (10QG).
(4) Examine the ENG 2 LP fuel valve symbol on the FUEL system page.
(a) If the ENG 2 LP fuel valve symbol shows in transit (diagonal amber line):
1_ Temporarily put a ground/earth on free connector 10QG-A, pin B
and examine the ENG 2 LP fuel valve symbol on the FUEL system
page, - make note.
2_ Remove the ground/earth temporarily placed on free connector
10QG-A, pin B.
3_ Temporarily put a ground/earth on free connector 10QG-A, pin D
and examine the ENG 2 LP fuel valve symbol on the FUEL system
page, - make note.
4_ Remove the ground/earth temporarily placed on free connector
10QG-A, pin D.
5_ If in steps 1_ and 3_ the LP fuel valve symbol agrees with the
table that follows:

- do a check (Ref. AWM 28-24-02) of the aircraft wiring (motor 1/ground/earth) between the ACTUATOR-LP VALVE, ENG 2 (10QG) connector 10QG-A, pin E and the ground/earth point 4002VN(621STA332).
6 Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.

7 Connect the electrical supply cable connector 10QG-A to the
_ ACTUATOR-LP FUEL VALVE, ENG 2 (10QG).
8 Do the Operational Test of the ENG 1(2) LP Fuel Valve
_ 12QM(13QM) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-24-00-710-002).
9 If the fault continues:
_
- replace the ACTUATOR-LP FUEL VALVE, ENG 2 (10QG), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-24-51-000-001), and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-24-51-400-001).
(b) If the ENG 2 LP fuel valve symbol does not show in transit:
- do a check (Ref. AWM 31-54-77) of the aircraft wiring(closed signal line/SDAC-1) between the ACTUATOR-LP VALVE, ENG 2 (10QG) connector 10QG-A, pin B and the SDAC-1 (1WV-1) connector AD, pin 2J
- do a check (Ref. AWM 31-54-77) of the aircraft wiring (open signal line/SDAC-1) between the ACTUATOR-LP VALVE, ENG 2 (10QG) connector 10QG-A, pin D and the SDAC-1 (1WV-1) connector AD, pin 1J
- do a check (Ref. AWM 31-54-77) of the aircraft wiring(closed signal line/SDAC-2) between the ACTUATOR-LP VALVE, ENG 2 (10QG) connector 10QG-A, pin B and the SDAC-2 (1WV-2) connector AD, pin 2J
- do a check (Ref. AWM 31-54-77) of the aircraft wiring (open signal line/SDAC-2) between the ACTUATOR-LP VALVE, ENG 2 (10QG) connector 10QG-A, pin D and the SDAC-2 (1WV-2) connector AD, pin 1J.
1 Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.

(5) Examine the ENG 2 LP fuel valve symbol on the FUEL system page.
(6) If the fault continues:
- open the C/Bs 3WV (SDAC1) and 2WV (SDAC2) in turn:
(7) If the fault is displayed on one powered/active SDAC:
- swap SDACs to confirm the faulty LRU.

(8) Check/replace the SDAC-1 (1WV1) or SDAC-2 (1WV2), (Ref. AMM TASK 31-55-34-000-001), and (Ref.
