A. Removal of the Display Unit
(1) FOR 2WT1, 3WT1 Remove the thermoformed cover from the CAPT main instrument panel. FOR 2WT2, 3WT2 Remove the thermoformed cover from the F/O main instrument panel. FOR 4WT1, 4WT2 Remove the thermoformed cover from the center instrument panel.

Push in the two locking catches (4).
(3)
If necessary, push up the handle (3) to decrease the load applied to the locking catches (4): the handle falls to the level of the studs.
(4)
Slowly and continuously lower the handle (3) to the bottom section of the screen : at the same time, the unit (2) moves out from the panel by approximately 3 cm.
(5)
Pull the handle (3) found at the removal point and disengage the unit (2).
(6)
Remove the unit (2).
(7)
Put blanking caps on the electrical connectors (1).
(8)
Put the unit in the replacement unit container.
