 A. Removal of the ECAM Control Panel
 (1)
 Loosen the quarter-turn fasteners (1).

 (2)
 Remove the ECAM control panel (2) from its housing (5).

 (3)
 Disconnect the connectors (4).

 (4)
 Remove the ECAM control panel (2).

 (5)
 Put blanking caps on the four electrical connectors (3) and (4).

 A. Installation of the Control Panel ECAM
 (1)
 Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (3) and (4).

 (2)
 Connect the electrical connectors (4) to the receptacles (3) of the ECAM control panel (2).

 (3)
 Install the ECAM control panel (2) in its housing (5).


 (4)
 Tighten the quarter-turn fasteners (1). Subtask 31-61-12-865-052

 B.
 Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 15WT

 C. Do the operational test of the Central Warning Systems (Ref. TASK 31-50-00-710-001)

 General

_______ The purpose of this document is to give the detailed characteristics of all the output signals of the DMCs. This document does not deal with the private digital data communications between the DMCs and the DUs.

 2.
 System Description


__________________
 A. DMC Input Signals The detailed characteristics of the DMC input signals are not dealt with in this document. The DMCs need discrete signals, ARINC 429 signals, ARINC 453 signals (from the weather radar transceiver) and RS 422 signals. (Ref. Fig. 001)
 B. Input parameters selection Each parameter is selcted by the DMC according to a particular protocol as follows:
 (1)
 FCU Buses (ATA 22) There is no switching between the two buses received by the DMC, which do not uses the same information from both buses. An invalid parameter is flagged.
