 A. Installation of the Drain Valve
 (1)
 Remove the blanking plugs from the union (60).

 (2)
 Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the threads of the union and to the new O-ring (61).

 (3)
 Put the O-ring (61) in position on the drain valve (62).

 (4)
 Install the drain valve (62) in the union (60).

 (5)
 Torque the drain valve (62) to 1.5 m.daN (11.06 lbf.ft)

 (6)
 Safety the drain valve (62) with lockwire,corrosion resistant steel dia. 0.8mm (0.032in.).

 B. Preparation for the Test
 (1)
 Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 (2)
 Fill the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002) and make sure that the fluid level in the Green Hydraulic Reservoir is correct.

 (3)
 Pressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).

 C. Leak Test of the Hydraulic Connections
 (1) Examine the connection of the drain valve (62) and the union (60).
 (2)
 Make sure that there are no leaks. Subtask 29-11-41-870-052

 Bleeding Procedure

 (1)
 Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-001).

 (2)
 Keep the system pressurized for 5 minutes to bleed the Green hydraulic system .

 (3)
 Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

 


 5. Close-up

 A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
 (1)
 Make sure that the level of fluid in the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is correct. (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002)

 (2)
 De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

 (3)
 Connect the isolation coupling of the power transfer unit (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-002).

 (4)
 Remove the access platform(s).

 (5)
 Remove the warning notice(s).

 (6)
 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 (7)
 Close the main doors of the main gear (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
