Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
-make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit, on the HYD section of the overhead panel 40VU.
(4)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
-make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(5)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(6)
Make sure that a container is below the hydraulic tube connection to the switch (25) to collect the remaining fluid.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Green Engine 1 Pump Delivery Check Valve (1050GM)
(1)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new O-ring (3).
(2)
Install the O-ring (3) on the check valve (1). (Ref. TASK 20-29-00-911-002)
(3)
Remove the blanking plug from the panel (4).
(4) Install the check valve (1) on the panel (4).
R R (5) TORQUE the check valve (1) to between 12.9 and 14.2 m.daN (95.13 and 104.71 lbf.ft).
(6) Remove the blanking plug from the disconnected hose (2).
(7) Connect the hose (2) to the check valve (1).
R R (8) TORQUE the coupling nut to between 9.7 and 10.7 m.daN (71.53 and 78.90 lbf.ft).

B. Test
(1) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(2) On the ECAM control panel, push the HYD key (on the lower ECAM DU, the HYD page comes into view).
(3) On the HYD page, make sure that the Green pressure is 3000 +200 -200 psi (206.8427 +13.7895 -13.7895 bar).
(4) Do an operational test of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-11-00-710-001)
(5) During the dry motoring, make sure that there are no leaks from the check valve.
(6) Make sure that the level of the hydraulic fluid in the Green reservoir is correct. If necessary, fill the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Remove the warning notice(s).
(2) Remove the container.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(4) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
R (5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

R (1) Remove the access platform(s).
