A. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine 1.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1 shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
-make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1 pushbutton switch is off.
(4)
Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1.

B. Get Access
(1)
Open the fan-cowl doors:
FOR 1000EM1
-437AL, 438AR (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
(2)
Put the access platform in position at the engine.

R A. Do a visual inspection of the Hydraulic Hoses and Tubes that are installed on the engine

R 1. Examine the hydraulic suction hose-tube assembly, look for:
R R R A. Cracks. None permitted. Replace the hose-tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-400-001).
R R R B. Crimps. None permitted. Replace the hose-tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-400-001).
R R R R C. Internal blockage. None permitted. Remove the blockage or replace the hose assembly (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-400-001).
R R R D. Leakage. None permitted. Replace the hose-tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-400-001).

Damage is permitted if the threads that are good are not reduced by more than one thread.
Damage is permitted if the damaged end-fittings can keep the correct torque value.
If the damage is more than the allowable limits, replace the hose-tube assembly (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-11-49-400-001).
