R (1) Make sure that the left fan cowl door is open: FOR 1000EM1
R - make sure that the door 437AL is open (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
(2) Make sure that the access platform is in position at the engine.

A. Installation of the Top Case Drain Hose/Tube Assembly
(1)
Remove the protective covers from the drain hose/tube (20), the filter assembly, the pressure-relief valve tube, and the fluid disconnect panel.
(2)
Loosely connect the top case drain hose/tube (20) to the fluid disconnect panel. Do not TORQUE the coupling nut at this time.
(3)
Loosely connect the drain hose/tube (20) to the hydraulic filter assembly. Do not TORQUE the coupling nut at this time.
(4)
Attach the drain hose/tube (20) to the higher bracket with the clamp (15), the bolt (5) and the washer (10). Do not TORQUE the bolt at this time.
(5)
Attach the drain hose/tube (20) to the higher channel with the clamp (15), the bolt (5) and the washer (10). Do not TORQUE the bolts at this time.
(6)
Attach the drain hose/tube (20) to the lower channel with the clamp (15), the bolt (25) and the washer (10). Do not TORQUE the bolts at this time.
(7)
Connect the pressure-relief valve tube to the tee-fitting on the drain hose/tube (20). Do not TORQUE the coupling nut at this time.
(8)
Make sure that the top case drain hose/tube (20) is in the correct position on the engine.
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the fittings when you TORQUE the
____ coupling nuts. This prevents damage to the hose/tube assemblies.
(9) TORQUE the drain hose/tube (20) coupling nuts to between 2.43 and
2.77 m.daN (17.92 and 20.42 lbf.ft).
(10)
TORQUE the coupling nut of the pressure relief valve tube to between
2.43 and 2.77 m.daN (17.92 and 20.42 lbf.ft).
(11)
TORQUE the bolts (5) and (25) to between 0.23 and 0.28 m.daN (20.35 and 24.77 lbf.in).
(12)
Remove the container.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1702GK

C. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-11-00-710-001).
(2) During the dry motoring of the engine 1, make sure that there are no R leaks from the case drain hose/tube.
(3) Make sure that the level of the hydraulic fluid in the Green reservoir is correct. If necessary, fill the reservoir: (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
