Make sure that the left fan cowl door is open : FOR 1000EM1 Make sure that the door 437AL is open (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040)
4. Procedure
_________
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 29-11-38-991-901) Subtask 29-11-38-420-050
A. Installation of the Engine 1 Pump Suction Self-Sealing Coupling (1672GK)
(1)
Remove the protective covers from the suction hose (5), the self-sealing coupling (15) and the union on the hydraulic pump (10).
(2)
Connect the self-sealing coupling (15) to the union on the hydraulic pump (10).
(3)
TORQUE the self-sealing coupling (15) to between 9.04 and 10.17 m.daN
(66.66 and 74.99 lbf.ft).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union on the hydraulic pump
____ when you TORQUE the self-sealing coupling (15).
(4)
Connect the suction hose (5) to the self-sealing coupling (15).
(5)
TORQUE the coupling nut on the suction hose (5) to between 10.73 and
12.99 m.daN (79.12 and 95.79 lbf.ft)
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the self-sealing coupling (15)
____ when you TORQUE the coupling nut on the suction hose.
(6)
Connect the hose coupling half to the fluid disconnect panel and tighten the coupling nut by hand.
(7)
TORQUE the coupling nut to between 9.04 and 10.17 m.daN (66.66 and
74.99 lbf.ft). Subtask 29-11-38-870-051
B. Bleeding
(1)
Put container below the connection between the suction hose coupling and the fluid disconnect panel.
(2)
Put absorbent material on the hose coupling nut.
(3)
On the connection between the hose coupling half and the suction hose:
-lightly loosen the upper end of the suction hose from its coupling half
-use two wrenches.
(4)
Let the hydraulic fluid flow from the disconnected connection into the container until there are no air bubbles.
(5)
When you complete the bleeding, TORQUE the hose coupling nut to between 21.47 and 23.73 m.daN (158.33 and 174.99 lbf.ft).
(6)
Remove the container and the absorbent material. Subtask 29-11-38-865-052
C.
Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1701GK, 1702GK
Subtask 29-11-38-863-051
D. Hydraulic Pressurization
(1)
Pressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
Pressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
Subtask 29-11-38-710-051
E. Test
(1)
Do an operational test of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-11-00-710-001)
(2)
During the dry motoring, make sure that there are no leaks from the connections.
(3)
Make sure that the level of the hydraulic fluid in the Green reservoir is correct. If necessary, fill the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
NOTE : There must be between 14 and 16 liters of hydraulic fluid in
____ the Green reservoir. This prevents a drop in the level of the fluid if the bleeding is not correct.
5. Close-up
________ Subtask 29-11-38-942-051
A. Remove the Safety Precautions
(1)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(2)
Remove the access platform(s).
(3)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
Subtask 29-11-38-410-051
B. Close Access
(1) Close the left fan cowl door :
FOR 1000EM1
close the door 437AL (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040)
