Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2)
Depressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Put warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system: - on the ground service panel 197CB.
(4)
Put warning notice(s) on the access door 195BB to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir.

B. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal on the ENG panel 115VU:
-put warning notice(s) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
Put warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit, on the HYD section of the overhead panel 40VU,
(4)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
-make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(5)
Put warning notice(s) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(6)
Put a container below the connection between the pressure hose (2) and the fluid disconnect panel to collect the remaining fluid.

A. Removal of the Engine 1 Pump Suction Self-Sealing Coupling (1672GK)
(1) Disconnect the suction hose (5) from the self-sealing coupling (15). Drain the hydraulic fluid directly into the container.
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the self-sealing coupling (15)
____ when you loosen the coupling nut on the suction hose.
(2) Disconnect the self-sealing coupling (15) from the union on the hydraulic pump (10).

(3) Install protective covers on the self-sealing coupling (15), the suction hose (5) and the union on the hydraulic pump (10).
