Disconnect the suction hose/tube (10) from the union (15) on the pump (35).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union (15) on the pump (35)

when you loosen the hose/tube coupling nut.
(5)
Remove the union (15) and the packing (55) from the suction port of the pump (35) and discard the packing (55).
(6)
Disconnect the pressure hose/tube (5) from the union/reducer (65) and the pump (35).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union/reducer (65) on the pump

(35) when you loosen the hose/tube coupling nut.
(7)
Remove the union/reducer (65) and the packing (60) from the pressure port on the pump (35) and discard the packing (60).
(8)
Remove the pump (35) as follows:
(a)
Loosen the four mount nuts (50).
(b)
Turn the pump (35) in a clockwise direction so that the nut goes through the large part of the hole in the pump flange.
(c)
Move the pump (35) forward and it from the engine.
(9)
Remove the gasket (45) from the mount pad and discard the gasket
(45).
(10)
Remove the packing (40) from the pump input splined-shaft and discard the packing (40).
(11)
Put protective covers on the end of the hose/tube assemblies, the unions, the unions/reducers, the pump and the electrical connector.
(12)
Put blanking plugs on the open end of the pump and on the gearbox mount pad.
