Install the HP filter 1048GM on the manifold (13) and install the bolts (30), (31) and the washers (32).

TORQUE the bolts (30), (31) to between 1.6 and 1.8 m.daN (11.79 and 13.27 lbf.ft).
(u)
Put the O-ring (44) in position and install the pressure transducer 1065GN, the washers (42) and the bolts (41).
(v) Tighten the bolts (41). **ON A/C ALL

B. Installation of the Manifold CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN
_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU USE THE SECOND WRENCH, YOU WILL NOT LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
CAUTION : YOU MUST INSTALL HYDRAULIC TUBES WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID AS

LUBRICANT.
(1)
Remove the sealant from the mating surface of the manifold (13) and the aircraft structure with a plastic or wooden scraper.
(2)
Examine the structure of the aircraft in the area of the manifold attachment for cracks, corrosion or other damage.
(3)
Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-018) to the mating surface of the manifold (13).
(4)
Remove the blanking plugs from the pipe connections.
(5)
Put the manifold (13) in position on the aircraft.
(6)
Install the five bolts (15) and the washers (16).
(7)
Tighten the bolts (15).
(8)
Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(9)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the threads of the pipe end-fittings.

Connect the pipe (1) to the union (3).

TORQUE the pipe end-fitting (2) to between 12.9 and 14.2 m.daN (95.13 and 104.71 lbf.ft).

Connect the pipe (24) to the union (26).

TORQUE the pipe end-fitting (25) to between 7.5 and 8.3 m.daN (55.30 and 61.20 lbf.ft).
(14)
Connect the pipe (17) to the check valve 1022GM.
(15)
TORQUE the pipe end-fitting (18) to between 12.9 and 14.2 m.daN
(95.13 and 104.71 lbf.ft).
(16)
Connect the pipe (20) to the union (22).
(17)
TORQUE the pipe end-fitting (21) to between 9.7 and 10.7 m.daN (71.53 and 78.90 lbf.ft).
(18)
Connect the pipe (51) to the Green power accumulator 1070GM but do not tighten the pipe end-fitting (47).
(19)
Connect the pipe (51) to the union (53) but do not tighten the pipe end-fitting (52).
(20)
Put the P-clip (49) in position on the pipe (51) and install the bolt
(48) and the nut (50) but do not tighten the nut (50).
(21)
TORQUE the two pipe end-fittings (47),(52) to between 9.7 and 10.7 m.daN (71.53 and 78.90 lbf.ft).
(22)
Tighten the nut (50).
(23)
Connect the bonding jumper (39) to the structural attachment and install the bolt (37), the nut (40) and the washer (38).
(24)
Tighten the nut (40).
(25)
Seal the connection of the bonding jumper (39) with SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013).
(26)
Apply STRUCTURE PAINTS (Material No. 16-003) (dyed blue) to the sealant.
(27)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

Connect the electrical connectors (5),(36),(45),(46) to the
receptacles.

D. Preparation for Test
(1)
Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(2)
Pressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(4)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
