A. Preparation of the Replacement Component
(1)
Remove the components which are attached to the removed manifold (35) as follows:
(a)
Remove the brake selector valve 23GG (Ref. TASK 32-42-11-000-001).
(b)
Remove the PTU solenoid valve 1012GL (Ref. TASK 29-23-51-000-001).
(c)
Remove the priority valve 1064GM (Ref. TASK 29-11-33-000-001).
(d)
Remove the bobbins (14),(30) and (37) from the manifold (35) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
(e)
Remove and discard:
-
the square-section seals (62), (65), (66),
-
the O-rings (60), (63), (38) and
-
the back-up rings (15), (61), (64), (31), (67), (68).
(f)
Put the bobbins into plastic bags to keep them clean.
(g)
Remove the check valve 1094GM as follows:
(h)
Remove the check valve 1093GM and discard the O-ring (34).
(i)
Install the blanking plugs on the open ports of the manifold (35).
(j)
Install the blanking plugs on all of the removed components.
(2)
Install the removed components onto the replacement manifold as follows:
(a)
Remove the blanking plugs from the manifold (35) and the components.
(b)
Lubricate the new O-rings and the threads of the components with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
(c)
Put the new O-ring (5) in position on the check valve 1094GM.
(d)
Put the new back-up rings (4) and the new O-ring (6) in position on the check valve 1094GM.
(e)
Install the check valve 1094GM on the manifold (35).
(f)
TORQUE the check valve 1094GM to between 6.26 and 6.83 m.daN
(46.16 and 50.36 lbf.ft).
(g)
Safety the check valve 1094GM with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(h)
Put the new O-ring (34) in position on the check valve 1093GM.
1_ Cut, remove and discard the lockwire.
2_ Remove the check valve 1094GM.
3_ Remove and discard the O-ring (5).
4_ Remove and discard the O-ring (6) and the back-up rings (4).

(i)
Install the check valve 1093GM in port D of the manifold (35).
(j)
TORQUE the check valve 1093GM to between 7.5 and 8.3 m.daN (55.30 and 61.20 lbf.ft).
(k)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new:
-square-section seals (62), (65) and (66),
-O-rings (60),(63), (38) and
-back-up rings (15), (61), (64), (31), (67), (68).
(l)
Put the new back-up rings (61) in position on the sides of the bobbins (14) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(m)
Put the new square section seals (62) in position on the sides of the bobbins (14) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(n)
Put the new back-up rings (15) in position on the sides of the bobbins (14) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(o)
Put the new O-rings (60) in position on the sides of the bobbins
(14) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(p)
Install the bobbins (14) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (35) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
(q)
Put the new back-up rings (67) in position on the sides of the bobbins (37) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(r)
Put the new square-section seals (66) in position on the sides of the bobbins (37) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(s)
Put the new back-up rings (68) in position on the sides of the bobbins (37) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(t)
Put the new O-rings (38) in position on the sides of the bobbins
(37) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(u)
Install the bobbins (37) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (35) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
(v)
Put the new back-up rings (64) in position on the sides of the bobbins (30) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
