R A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
R (1) Put the SAFETY BARRIERS in position.
R (2) Put a WARNING NOTICE in position to tell persons not to operate the R landing gear doors.
R (3) Make sure that: R - The fuel quantity in the wing tanks are symetrical or the wing R tanks are empty R - Two engines are installed R - The weight of the aircraft is on the landing gear (weight on the R wheels).
R (4) Extension of the flaps

R WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS ARE
_______ R CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO R PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE.
R (a) Extend the flaps fully (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).

R (b) Install the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER on the
R flap/slat control lever on panel 114VU.

R C. Get Access
R (1) Open the main gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
R (2) Install the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE on the applicable main gear
R door-actuator (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
R (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position.
R (4) Remove the applicable access panels (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-000-002) and
R (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-000-004):
R For the LH wing, remove the panels:
R - 571AB
R - 573AB, 573BB, 573CB
R - 575AB, 575BB, 575CB, 575DB, 575EB, 575FB and 575FB.
R For the RH wing, remove the panels:
R - 671AB
R - 673AB, 673BB, 673CB
R - 675AB, 675BB, 675CB, 675DB, 675EB, 675FB and 675FB.
R (5) Clean the rigging pin holes at the track 1, 2, 3 and 4.
R (6) Remove the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER on the flap/slat
R control lever on panel 114VU.

R (3) Put a WARNING NOTICE on panel 114VU to tell persons not to operate

R - MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY.
R INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
