G. Installation of the Interconnecting Strut
(1)
Make sure that the bolt (15), the washer (14) and the nut (13) are installed. Tighten the nut (13).
(2)
TORQUE the nut (13) to between 1.1 and 1.7 m.daN (97.34 and 150.44 lbf.in).
NOTE : It is possible to have a clearance between the flange of the
____ bush and the strut attachment bracket. This is satisfactory.
(3)
Install the new cotter-pin (12).
(4)
If you loosened the locknut (17), TORQUE it to between 5.1 and 5.9 m.daN (37.61 and 43.51 lbf.ft).
(5)
Safety the locknut (17) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(6)
Apply a layer of STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-007) to:
-
the bolt (2), the nut (6), the washer (5) and the cotter pin (7)
-
the bolt (15), the nut (13), the washer (14) and the cotter pin (12).

R G. Installation of the Interconnecting Strut
R (1) Make sure that the bolt (19), the washer (18) and the nut (16) are
R installed. Tighten the nut (16).
R (2) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 1.1 and 1.7 m.daN (97.34 and 150.44
R lbf.in).
R NOTE : It is possible to have a clearance between the flange of the____
R bush and the strut attachment bracket. This is satisfactory.
R (3) Install the new cotter-pin (17).
R (4) If you loosened the locknut (21), TORQUE it to between 5.1 and 5.9
R m.daN (37.61 and 43.51 lbf.ft).
R (5) Safety the locknut (21) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
R (6) Apply a layer of STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-007) to:
R - the bolt (11), the nut (3),the washer (4) and the cotter pin (2)
R - the bolt (19), the nut (16), the washer (18) and the cotter pin
R (17)
R - the bolts (5), the washers (6) and the nuts (10).

control lever on panel 114VU.
