R  (2) Put the applicable proximity sensor (14) in position on the bracket 
R  (8): 
R  FOR 39CV, 40CV 
R  (a) Install the bolts (6), the washers (7) and the nuts (11). Do not 
R  tighten the nuts (11). 
R  (3) Install the PIN-SETTING (98D27504031000) in the interconnecting strut 
R  (15). 
R  (4) Make sure that the dimension X is between 0.3 mm (0.02 in.) and 0.7 
R  mm (0.03 in.). 
R  (5) Tighten the applicable nuts (2) or (11). 
R  (6) Make sure that the dimension X has stayed correct. 
R  (7) Remove the blanking cap from the applicable electrical connectors (9) 
R  or (10). 
R  (8) Connect the applicable electrical connector (12) or (13). 
R  (9) Remove the PIN-SETTING from the interconnecting strut (15). 
R  (10) Remove the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) 
R  from the slat/flap control lever.

 C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 6CV, 8CV.

 (1) Do an operational test of the failure detection sensors for the flap attachment (Ref. TASK 27-51-00-710-002).

 Install the upper and the lower kink-seals (Ref. TASK 27-54-61-400-006).
