F. Inspection of the Nacelles and the Engines
NOTE : If the aircraft was on the ground with the applicable protective
____ covers/devices installed when the volcanic ash contamination occurred, this inspection is not necessary if there is no ash behind the covers.
NOTE : If the aircraft was on the ground without the applicable
____ protective covers/devices installed, we recommend that after you
R start the engines, you let the engines operate some minutes before
R you use the bleed air systems. This is to make sure that the
R engines blow out remaining particles.
