7. On the CABIN PRESS section of the panel 25VU:
-with the MAN/V/S CTL switch in DN position, fully close the outflow valve (OVP indication on MCDU).
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-release the PACK 2 pushbutton switch when the outflow valve is closed.
8. Monitor the differential pressure decrease on the MCDU (PDC indication):
-at 560 mbar (8.12 psi), record the cabin vertical speed (VSCB indication on the MCDU). The leakage rate is permitted if the VSCB value (VSCB indication on the MCDU) is less than 1450 ft.min (441.95 m.min).
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-push the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches (the OFF legend is off).
On the CABIN PRESS section of the panel 25VU:
-with the MAN V/S CTL switch, decrease the cabin differential pressure until you get a differential pressure of 0 psi.
NOTE : The cabin vertical speed
____ must not be more than 500 ft.min (152.39 m.min) (VSCB indication on the MCDU).
9. Wait until the cabin is fully depressurized then fully open the outflow valve (OVP indication on the MCDU).
On the lower ECAM display unit, on theCAB PRESS page:

R - THE CABIN ALTITUDE INDICATION BECOMES AMBER XX
R - THE CABIN VERTICAL-SPEED INDICATION IS NO LONGER CORRECT. IF
R YOU DO NOT KNOW THE CORRECT CABIN PRESSURE VALUES, YOU CAN MAKE
R UNWANTED CHANGES IN PRESSURE THAT CAN CAUSE INJURY.
R NOTE : This procedure uses the MAN V/S CTL switch on the CABIN PRESS____
R section of the panel 25VU to control the cabin pressure.
R This switch, spring loaded to neutral, controls the outflow valve
R position:
R - UP: the outflow valve moves to the open position (the cabin
R pressure decreases)
R - DN: the outflow valve moves to the closed position (the cabin
R pressure increases)
R We recommend:
R - short action on this switch (do not hold the switch in the UP or
R DN position)
R - that you monitor the cabin vertical speed indication
R to prevent sudden changes in cabin pressure.
