To examine the aircraft for structural damage after a flight where excessive
load factors occurred. Such load factors can be caused by high turbulence,
maneuvers not in the usual limits, or VMO/MMO values that are more than the
specified limits.
Refer to Para. 3. A. for the conditions in which an inspection is necessary.

A. Inspection Requirements
(1) Do this inspection if the flight crew report and/or the data from the Digital Flight Recording System (DFDRS) and/or the data from the QAR (if installed) show:
R R R R R NOTE : Excessive turbulence is identified as turbulence that causes____ large, abrupt changes in altitude and/or attitude. It usually causes large variations in airspeed. Passengers and crew are moved violently against their seat belts and loose objects are moved around the aircraft.
(a) Turbulence or maneuvers that caused a vertical load factor equal to or more than: - +2.5 g or -1 g (clean configuration) - +2 g or 0 g (flaps and/or slats extended), or
(b) Speeds that were more than VMO + 20 Kts (CAS), or
(c) Speeds that were more than MMO + 0.04 M, or
(d) Speeds that were more than VMO or MMO and at which there was a vertical load factor equal to or more than +2 g or 0 g.
