R  1. On the AIR COND panel 30VU: 
R  - adjust the cabin temperature 
R  control as necessary. 


R  2. On the CABIN PRESS section of the 
R  panel 25VU: 
R  - set the MAN V/S CTL switch to 
R  DN and release, the switch 
R  moves to the neutral position. 
R  Do this operation several 
R  times. This closes the outflow 
R  valve (OVP indication on MCDU). 
R  NOTE : The cabin vertical speed____ 
R  must not be more than 500 
R  ft.min (152.39 m.min) 
R  (VSCB indication on MCDU). 
R  - stop when you get a cabin 
R  differential pressure of 280 
R  mbar (4.06 psi) (PDC indication 
R  on MCDU). 
R  3. With the MAN/V/S CTL switch in 
R  the UP or DN position, keep the 
R  differential pressure stable at 
R  280 mbar (4.06 psi) for 5 
R  minutes. 



R  4. Use the same method as in step 2 
R  to increase cabin differential 
R  pressure to 580 mbar (8.41 psi). 

R  NOTE : the cabin vertical speed____ 
R  must not be more than 500 
R  ft.min (152.39 m.min) 
R  (VSCB indication on the 
R  MCDU).

On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-make sure that the FAULT legend of the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches is off.
Air blows into the fuselage.
On the MCDU (VSCB indication):
-
the cabin vertical speed must not be

more than 500 ft.min (152.39 m.min). On the MCDU (PDC indication):

-
the cabin differential pressure increases to 280 mbar (4.06 psi).


Tell ground personnel to walk around
the aircraft and do a check for
leakage.
On the MCDU (VSCB indication):

-
the cabin vertical speed is 0. On the MCDU (PDC indication):

-
the cabin differential pressure is 280 mbar (4.06 psi).

On the MCDU (PDC indication):

-
the cabin differential pressure

increases to 580 mbar (8.41 psi). On the MCDU (VSCB indication):

-
the cabin vertical speed must not bemore than 500 ft.min (152.39 m.min).

R  switch when the outflow valve 
R  is closed. 
R  8. Monitor the differential pressure 
R  decrease on the MCDU (PDC 
R  indication): 
R  - at 560 mbar (8.12 psi), record 
R  the cabin vertical speed (VSCB 
R  indication on the MCDU). 
R  The leakage rate is permitted 
R  if the VSCB value (VSCB 
R  indication on the MCDU) is less 
R  than 1050 ft.min (320.03 
R  m.min). 
R  On the AIR COND panel 30VU: 
R  - push the PACK 1 and PACK 2 
R  pushbutton switches (the OFF 
R  legend is off). 
R  On the CABIN PRESS section of the 
R  panel 25VU: 

On the MCDU (VSCB indication):
-
the cabin vertical speed is 0. On the MCDU (PDC indication):

-
the cabin differential pressure is 580 mbar (8.41 psi).

On the AIR COND panel 30VU:

the OFF legend of the PACK 1
