 A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

 Make sure that the electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

 Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

 B. Safety Precautions

 Put the safety barriers in position.

 Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gears (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).

 Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the aircraft systems.

 C. Jacking of the Aircraft
 (1)

 D. Get Access
 (1) Open and safety the main gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

 Put an access platform in position near the damaged landing gear. Subtask 05-51-31-110-050


 E. Cleaning
 (1) Remove the sealant from the Stalock nut on the MLG side stay bottom cardan joints with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) soaked in CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).
