R PARAMETERS (CABIN DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE, CABIN ALTITUDE, CABIN
R VERTICAL- SPEED) DURING THIS TEST.
R THE PRESSURES USED IN THIS TEST ARE MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM LIMIT
R OF THE RELATED PRESSURE SENSOR.
R WHEN THESE PRESSURES BECOME MORE THAN THE PRESSURE SENSOR
R LIMIT, ON THE ECAM DISPLAY:
R - THE CABIN DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE INDICATION BECOMES AMBER XX
R - THE CABIN ALTITUDE INDICATION BECOMES AMBER XX
R - THE CABIN VERTICAL-SPEED INDICATION IS NO LONGER CORRECT. IF
R YOU DO NOT KNOW THE CORRECT CABIN PRESSURE VALUES, YOU CAN MAKE
R UNWANTED CHANGES IN PRESSURE THAT CAN CAUSE INJURY.
R NOTE : This procedure uses the MAN V/S CTL switch on the CABIN PRESS____
R section of the panel 25VU to control the cabin pressure.
R This switch, spring loaded to neutral, controls the outflow valve
R position:
R - UP: the outflow valve moves to the open position (the cabin
R pressure decreases)
R - DN: the outflow valve moves to the closed position (the cabin
R pressure increases)
R We recommend:
R - short action on this switch (do not hold the switch in the UP or
R DN position)
R - that you monitor the cabin vertical speed indication
R to prevent sudden changes in cabin pressure.

R 1. On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
R - adjust the cabin temperature
R control as necessary.

R - set the MAN V/S CTL switch to
R DN and release, the switch
R moves to the neutral position.
R Do this operation several
R times. This closes the outflow
R valve.
R NOTE : The cabin vertical speed____

R - stop when you get a cabin
R pressure of value A (Pamb + 280
R mbar (4.06 psi)).
R 3. With the MAN/V/S CTL switch in

R minutes.
