_______ PARAMETERS (CABIN DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE, CABIN ALTITUDE, CABIN VERTICAL- SPEED) DURING THIS TEST. THE PRESSURES USED IN THIS TEST ARE MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM LIMIT OF THE RELATED PRESSURE SENSOR. WHEN THESE PRESSURES BECOME MORE THAN THE PRESSURE SENSOR LIMIT, ON THE ECAM DISPLAY:
 -
THE CABIN DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE INDICATION BECOMES AMBER XX

 -
THE CABIN ALTITUDE INDICATION BECOMES AMBER XX

 -
THE CABIN VERTICAL-SPEED INDICATION IS NO LONGER CORRECT. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE CORRECT CABIN PRESSURE VALUES, YOU CAN MAKE UNWANTED CHANGES IN PRESSURE THAT CAN CAUSE INJURY.


 NOTE : This procedure uses the MAN V/S CTL switch on the CABIN PRESS
____ section of the panel 25VU to control the cabin pressure. This switch, spring loaded to neutral, controls the outflow valve position:
 -UP: the outflow valve moves to the open position (the cabin pressure decreases)
 -DN: the outflow valve moves to the closed position (the cabin
 pressure increases)
 We recommend:

 -short action on this switch (do not hold the switch in the UP or DN position)
 -that you monitor the cabin vertical speed indication to prevent sudden changes in cabin pressure.

1. On the AIR COND panel 30VU: On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
 -Adjust the cabin temperature - make sure that the FAULT legend of control as necessary. the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton
 switches is off. Air blows into the fuselage.
 2. On the CABIN PRESS section of the  On the MCDU (VSCB indication): panel 25VU: - the cabin vertical speed must not be

 With the MAN/V/S CTL switch in the UP or DN position, keep the differential pressure stable at 280 mbar (4.06 psi) for 5 minutes.

 Use the same method as in step 2 to increase cabin differential pressure to 580 mbar (8.41 psi).

 With the MAN/V/S CTL switch in the UP or DN position, keep the differential pressure stable at 580 mbar (8.41 psi).

 On the AIR COND panel 30VU:


-release the PACK 1 pushbutton
switch. On the CABIN PRESS section of the panel 25VU:
-with the MAN/V/S CTL switch, keep the differential pressure stable at 580 mbar (8.41 psi).
Tell ground personnel to walk around
the aircraft and do a check for
leakage.
On the MCDU (VSCB indication):

-
the cabin vertical speed is 0. On the MCDU (PDC indication):

 -
the cabin differential pressure is 280 mbar (4.06 psi).
