Adjust the tension in cables SL and SP to 50 | 5 lbs (222 +/- 22 newtons). such that rig pins E/ST1, E/ST3, E/ST4, and E/ST5 can be installed freely.

Use the STAB TRIM control levers to move the horizontal stabilizer in the airplane nose up direction (stabilizer leading edge down).

Make sure that the travel limit mechanism stops the horizontal stabilizer when the stop lugs on the lower end of the ballnut are between 0.16 and 0.60 of a turn away from the stop lugs on the upper flange of the gearbox.
NOTE: One turn of the ballnut is equivalent to 0.625 inch

(12) Adjust the turnbuckles on cables SLA and SLB until the conditions that follow are correct at the same time:
(a) Use the STAB TRIM control levers to move the horizontal
stabilizer in the airplane nose up direction (stabilizer
leading edge down).
(b) Make sure that the travel limit mechanism stops the horizontal
stabilizer when the stop lugs on the lower end of the ballnut
are between 0.16 and 0.60 of a turn away from the stop lugs on
the upper flange of the gearbox.
NOTE:____ One turn of the ballnut is equivalent to 0.625 inch
