Operation Force of the Flap Control Lever - Test

(1)
Do the test as follows:
(a)
Measure the force necessary to move the flap control lever smoothly from the zero (FLAPS UP) detent to the 30-unit detent in five seconds.
(b)
Make sure the force does not exceed nine pounds.
(c)
Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent.
(d)
Let the flaps and slats stop at the 1-unit position.
(e)
Move the flap control lever to zero (FLAPS UP) detent.
(f)
Make sure the force necessary to move the flap control lever is less than six and one-half pounds.

FSEU BITE - Test (-17 or lower FSEU's)

(1)
Do the FSEU BITE procedure as follows:
(a)
Put the EICAS computer switch on the EICAS DISPLAY select-panel, P9, to L.
(b)
Do the BITE test on the FSEU-1 in the main equipment center as follows: 1) Push the BIT test switch. 2) Make sure all the lights on the FSEU panel face come on. 3) Release the BIT test switch. 4) Make sure all the lights on the FSEU panel face go off. 5) Make sure that no FAULT indications occur. 6) Make sure the green TEST COMPLETE light comes on. 7) Make sure the indications that follow come on momentarily
in the sequence shown while the BITE test is run:

Push the arming switch for the alternate drive of the LE slats
to arm the slat alternate drive (switch light will come on).
Do the BITE test on the FSEU-2 in the main equipment center as
follows:
1) Push the BIT test switch.
2) Make sure all the lights on the FSEU panel face come on.
3) Release the BIT test switch.
4) Make sure all the lights on the FSEU panel face go off.
5) Make sure that no FAULT indications occur.
6) Make sure the green TEST COMPLETE light comes on.
7) Make sure the indications that follow come on momentarily in the sequence shown while the BITE test is run:
