Remove rig pins E/ST1 and E/ST2, then put them in again.

If the rig pins cannot be freely put in, make sure the condition that follows is satisfied: 1) Make sure that both levers on the control module are no

 more than 0.03 inch (0.76 mm) farther than the index marks on the lever stop plate. 2) If the above condition is satisfied, but the rig pins cannot be put in freely, the adjustment is satisfactory.

Remove rig pins E/ST1 and E/ST2.

 (b) (c)  Adjust the turnbuckles in cables ST1A, ST1B, ST2A, and ST2B to 270 | 10 lbs (1.20 +/- 0.04 KN).Adjust the turnbuckle as necessary to position the STAB TRIM levers as follows (Fig. 501): 1) The edge of each STAB TRIM control lever is no more than 0.50 inch (12.7 mm) farther than the edges of the position decal.
 (d)  While you do the adjustment, adjust all of the seals so that the cables do not bend.
 (e) (f) (g)  Remove rig pins E/ST1 and E/ST2.Operate the levers through full travel 25 times.Make sure the conditions that follow are correct: 1) The turnbuckles do not touch the pulley or quadrant flanges through full cable travel. 2) Cables are within 2 degrees of the plane of the pulley or quadrant. 3) Cables are installed through grommets and air pressure seals in the structure as necessary. 4) Cables are not moved from the rigged position or the position for normal operation by fairleads, rub strips, or grommets. 5) Pulleys turn freely with no blockage from the guards.
