Make sure the LE slats then move to the UP position.

 (25)
 Put the position selector switch for the alternate flaps/slats in the 5-unit detent, and do the checks that follow:

 (a)  
Make sure the position indicator needles for the L and R flap are in the tolerance band for the 5-unit position when the TE flaps stop at the 5-unit position.

 (b)  
Make sure the flaps go to the 5-unit position in less than 80 seconds from the movement of the position selector switch.
