Push and release the BIT test switch on FSEU-3.
(a)
Make sure the face panel on the FSEU shows no failure indications.
(b)
Make sure the green test-complete light shows on the face panel for the end of test.
(c)
While BITE test is run, make sure the EICAS message, FLAP/SLAT ELEC, comes on momentarily.
NOTE: The status display for the EICAS must be on for the

message to come on.

AIRPLANES WITH -32 OR -37 FSEUs;
Do a check for Past and Present Faults as follows:
(a)
Push the BIT TEST button three times in less than 2 seconds on FSEU-3. 1) Make sure the face panel on the FSEU shows no failure
indications. 2) Make sure the green test-complete light shows on the face panel for the end of test.
(b)
Press and hold BIT TEST button on FSEU-3. 1) Make sure all the FSEU-3 indication lights come on.
(c)
Release the BIT TEST button.
(d)
Press BIT TEST button two times in less than 1 second.
1) Make sure the EICAS message, FLAP/SLAT ELEC, shows momentarily on the status display.
NOTE: The status display for the EICAS must be on for the
____ message to come on.
